Class Selection and Registration Policy Reminders
Gender Balance Tango Renaissance USA realizes the importance of having a partner for classes and will do its best to maintain gender balance by using the registration tool RegOnline. In turn, we ask that you do your best to seek out a partner ahead of time. We also encourage you to partner with someone that you’re not only compatible dancing with, but who has a similar learning style and complementary personality. This will help you – and everyone around you – to enjoy the process. If you need help finding a partner, feel free to use our fête forum page to get started. Class Level/Rotation Please choose your appropriate class level. See our Program page for the level descriptions and guidance. As a general rule, students in classes at the beginner to intermediate levels will be asked to rotate partners and students in intermediate/advanced and advanced level classes will be less likely to rotate. We kindly ask participants to be responsible in choosing their level. Tango Renaissance USA is not responsible for the level of your partner in those classes where there is partner rotation and no refunds will be given for lack of a compatible partner nor lost time in a class that is not appropriate to a participant’s individual level. Choose wisely, be happy. Student Discount Policy Tango Renaissance USA understands that students are on a budget, and we want to help by offering a discount. In turn, please help us by remembering to bring your ID when picking up your registration pass. Note that only full-time students qualify for this discount. Your student ID must state ‘full time student’ or you can alternately present proof of full-time status, such as paperwork from your registrar. Please note that we will most definitely ask you for this, so please don't try to pull a fast one on us! Thanks a bunch. Registration Deadlines Early-Bird registration is available through June 19, 2011 (11:59pm PST). Online, pre-registration is available through July 24, 2011 (11:59pm PST). After July 25th online registration will be closed and at-door registration and pricing is the only option and is based on availability. The mail-In registration deadline is July 20, 2011, as time must be allowed for check processing. Please note that we only accept cash at the door. Refund Policy In the event that you are unable to attend the festival after your registration and payment are processed, the following deadlines and refunds apply. We regret that there will be no full refunds due to administrative and processing fees. 75% Refund — Up to June 30, 2011 50% Refund — After June 30, 2011 and up to July 15, 2011 0% Refund — After July 15, 2011 Video/Photo Policy Tango Renaissance USA kindly yet firmly enforces a video policy during all festival events and would like to remind you that lesson content and all performance material is the sole property of talent. Video footage during performances is strictly prohibited and video footage taken during lessons is only allowed with the explicit consent of the instructors. We believe that performances are best received 'live' and that the artists would like to share this moment with you personally. Therefore we ask our participants to simply be in the moment and experience these unique performances without placing a video camera between yourself and the artists. Those who are interested in capturing still images (non-flash) of the performances may contact the directors of Tango Renaissance USA for advance permission. Thank you for your understanding. Privacy Policy Tango Renaissance USA values your privacy and will not sell your personal information to a 3rd party vendor unless specifically correlated with your registration. Therefore we use a registration tool known as RegOnline which features secure payment options for you. Please note that if you choose to participate in the fête forum (antipanicosf.com/forum online search for housing, partner, travel buddy, etc.), you elect to make your email public on our website.
